Terms of Service

Effective September 17, 2026

These Terms govern your use of vowseat.com and VowSeat. By creating an account, purchasing a package, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

VowSeat provides wedding seating-chart tools, guest-list organization, and a QR-based guest seat finder. Features and capacity depend on your selected package. The free plan supports up to 20 guests. Paid packages are one-time purchases for one wedding unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, maintain control of your email account, and use VowSeat only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping wedding access codes private.

Payments and upgrades

Stripe processes paid purchases. Prices and package limits are displayed before checkout. Upgrades do not erase the wedding information already saved to your account. Taxes may be added when required.

Refunds

Purchases are generally nonrefundable. Refunds are available only for qualifying technical issues as described in our Refund Policy, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Your content and guest data

You keep ownership of the wedding information and content you submit. You give VowSeat permission to host, process, and display that content only as needed to operate the service. You represent that you have the right to submit guest information and any couple photo you upload.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security, upload unlawful or harmful content, use automated methods to overload the service, resell access without permission, or use VowSeat to violate another person’s rights.

Availability and wedding-day backup

We work to keep VowSeat available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Internet access, devices, venues, browsers, email providers, and third-party services can affect availability. Keep a printed backup of your final seating chart for the wedding day.

Intellectual property

VowSeat’s name, design, software, and original website content belong to VowSeat or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you.

Suspension or termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, unlawful conduct, nonpayment, or violations of these Terms. You may stop using VowSeat at any time.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, VowSeat is provided “as is” and “as available.” VowSeat is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, lost data, wedding disruptions, or losses caused by third-party services or internet availability. To the extent permitted by law, VowSeat’s total liability relating to a paid package will not exceed the amount you paid for that package.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised effective date.
