Effective September 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how VowSeat (“VowSeat,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use vowseat.com and the VowSeat wedding-seating service.
Information we collect

- Wedding information: couple names, wedding date, venue, seating-chart settings, table names, guest names, seating assignments, access code, and an optional couple photo.

- Support communications: messages you send to our support team.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, save seating plans, provide the guest seat finder, process and verify purchases, enforce package limits, provide support, prevent misuse, maintain the service, and comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We share information only as needed with service providers that help operate VowSeat, including Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payment processing, and website infrastructure providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell wedding or guest information.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for having an appropriate reason and permission to enter guest information into VowSeat. Avoid entering sensitive information that is not necessary for seating arrangements.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account or wedding plan remains active and as reasonably needed for service, security, tax, dispute, and legal purposes. To request deletion of your account and wedding data, email support@vowseat.com. Some transaction records may be retained when legally required.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including authenticated accounts and database access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so protect your email account and wedding access code.
Children
VowSeat is intended for adults planning weddings and is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service to collect unnecessary information about children.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information by contacting us. Additional privacy rights may apply depending on where you live.
Changes
We may update this policy as VowSeat changes. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date.
